Marcem Australia Pty Ltd (“Marcem”) and Field Machine Tools Pty Ltd (“FMT”) are pleased to announce that Marcem has acquired FMT’s rental fleet, effective 30 June 2026.
The acquisition strengthens Marcem’s rental equipment capability and provides customers with continued access to a broader range of specialist equipment and practical support across Australia.
Both parties are committed to a smooth transition for our customers. Marcem and FMT will work together to support continuity of service, preserve existing relationships, and ensure rental equipment enquiries are managed clearly during the transition.
The transaction is limited to the transfer of FMT’s rental fleet and related rental opportunities. It does not involve the purchase of the FMT business, the transfer of staff, or the transfer of any other FMT assets, liabilities, or distribution rights.
FMT will continue to trade independently, with an ongoing focus on the sale of new equipment and its role as sales agent for existing suppliers and customers.
